Biography

Lexi was having seizures from birth, she became very ill and was in intensive care, on life support. They did not know why she was having fits so they put her on a ventilator to help her as she stopped breathing when she was fitting. They then went on to test Lexi for everything. Lexi struggled to survive and they finally found she had this chromosone disorder.

Lexi needs 24 hour care and full support in everything she needs on a day to day basis. She has complex learning difficulties, she cannot walk or talk, she has hearing loss and vision impairment, she cannot eat and is fully fed via gastro tube. Lexi still suffers with seizures and is on medication for this, she struggles to be here every day. She is loved dearly and adored by us all, she is such a happy little girl. She has also beaten meningitis, she was on full life support for five days and pulled through. She has got lots to deal with so we thought this would be something special for her.
