Biography

Lilly was born a perfectly healthy baby girl. She thrived as a baby she used to wave goodbye, she was able to say 'Mum' and 'Dad' and 'milk', then when she turned one it all stopped. She walked late, and she was seen by professionals before she turned three. She had lots of appointments with a specialist and in December 2009 she was diagonsed with severe autism and global development delay.

The past three years have been very hard as well as rewarding. Lilly's global developmental delay means that mentally she's 2 years old and can't do anything for herself. She has no awareness of danger etc.
