I have just returned back down to earth after watching Milly open her parcel. It is just unbelievable - out of this world. I was totally speechless when I saw them. I don't know what I was expecting them to be like, but they are just so amazing that even the girls are almost in tears.

We have had them laid out on the lounge floor & looked at all the squares individually & the girls were amazed by the fact that all the stitchers had their names & town or country on their square.

Milly's is just so absolutley perfect for her room - the pinks blend exactly with her colour scheme & she has it over her bed as I type.

Thank you SO SO MUCH. Please pass our gratitude onto all the wonderful stitchers ..... simply amazing.

Biography

Milly was diagnosed with a rare craniofacial condition (Crouzon's Syndrome) at 11 weeksold, after a plea from her parents to find out what was wrong. Milly had been described as 'normal' despite numerous problems.

BIG SHOCK for all of Milly's family but Milly recieves excellent care at Great Ormand Street Hospital, where she has also had several surgeries. Her treatment is ongoing, but highly unpredictable. Despite frequent hospital stays and having to sleep with a CPAP mask (to keep the airways open) Milly remains a ray of sunshine to us all.
