Biography

Katie is our little girl who has just turned 5. She was born with a rare condition called Lissencephaly which means 'smooth brain'. For Katie it has affected both her mental and physical development, she has no head control therefore cannot sit unaided and is unable to speak. She was also born with a poor swallow reflex and cannot eat by mouth so she has a gastrostomy tube (in her tummy) for her special diet. Despite all of this she is a very happy and content little girl and she has brought so much love to our lives x
