Biography

Toby has his first seizure when he was 8 weeks old lasting 5 minutes. It then happened again a week later. As the weeks and months went by the seizures got longer and more frequent, often having an ambulance at the house every day.

Months of tests and hospital stays finally confirmed that Toby had Dravet Syndrome, a rare and severe epilepsy. The prognosis was not good.

Although Toby was a little behind development-wise it wasnt too far behind until things started to plateau when he turned one and regressed since then.

Due to the severity of Tobys condition and daily seizures his mum and dad have to be with him at all times, as he often stops breathing and requires resuscitation.

Despite all these challenges Toby is a gorgeous, smiley, energetic and fun boy who brings hot to Gus family and friends
