Biography

Alliza-Lily was rushed to hospital at 6 days old after turning blue and lifeless at home. She was diagnosed with Congenital Hyperinsulinism, a rare condition causing hypoglycaemia in infancy. Alliza-Lily is under the care of our local hospital and Great Ormond Street for her condition and underlying problems.

Her development delays are currently under investigation and we are awaiting to see a geneticist. She's had many tests including 3 EEGs, an MRI, 3 sweat tests, attempted lumbar puncture, an EMG, echogram and countless blood tests. After all that she goes through, she remains a happy little girl.
