Thank youLadies both myself, my husband and George really can't thank you all enough for the beautiful quilt that arrived today. George was SO excited when he was opening it an has had a good look at all the squares individually. I've got one little boy who is tucked up in my bed with his quilt. Once again thank you so much

BiographyGeorge was born full term and without complications. As a baby he was an absolute delight and as good as gold. He would sit and play for hours on end and was no bother. When he was about 18 months old we took him on his first holiday abroad and taking him into the outdoor pool upset him to the point where he was screeching. Taking him out of the pool had the same effect. From this point almost every activity indoor and outdoor resulted in high pitched screaming. We'd noticed that George also didn't respond when calling his name and he didn't speak. I mentioned this to a HV who referred George for further assessments.
Over time George has been given a place at an excellent nursery and is currently on the ASC pathway. The professionals have all said that they have no doubt that George has autism and we have been given the beginning of January as the date of the group findings. We have started to look at special provision for next September and are looking to the future to make sure he is in a happy setting so that he grows to his full potential.
George is 4 years old and within the space of 12 months has gone from being non verbal to putting simple sentences together. He is the most loving little boy with a big mop of blonde hair and blue eyes. He is one of four boys and as his mum I honestly wouldn't change him for the world. He truly is different and not less.
