Biography

Georgia was born at 34 wks due to placental abruption and had to be revived. On day 5 of life she went into multi organ failure including lungs and kidney, and had to be ventilated, She spent 4 months in hospital and contracted chicken pox at 5 months old went back into hospital where she had unexplained fits. She finally went home at 6 months old on oxygen then got pneumonia.

Georgia has spent most winters in hospital with chest infections and now has severe breathing difficulties possibly awaiting a tracheostomy. We have oxygen at home but only needs it when she stops breathing, she has fundoplication due to severe reflux and is now nil by mouth requiring feeds through her peg,
