Biography

Max contracted whooping cough at just 4 weeks old. He was hospitalised and ventillated. He spent 3 months in hospital and was left severely brain damaged. As a consequence he has multiple disabilities and is registered blind due to low sight and cognative function. He suffers with status epilepsy which is life threatening and debilatating. Max has foot deformities and mild scoliosis and through sheer determination he can walk short distances but gets tired very easily so mostly uses his wheelchair outside of the home. Max is also non-verbal, has severely limited communication, sensory issues and autistic features which add to his problems and make life extremely challenging for him.
