Biography

Izzy was born a healthy able bodied baby. No complications. At 7.5 months izzy got an upper respiratory viral infection. she started losing control of her body. She spent a week in our local hospital where izzy was being treated for sub clinical seizures. EEG was fine so she got transferred to the Evelina where they done an MRI and after 48 hours we were given the diagnosis of ga1.

Since then the dystonia has over taken Izzys body. She's tube fed with having a few tasters. In Jan 2014 izzy had deep brain stimulation to help relieve some of the symptoms of her dystonia and this has made a huge difference to all of our lives
