Thank youWell words can not describe the feeling of happiness and love in our hearts for everyone involved in Alexanda's quilt. The thought of having something made from so much love for Alexanda is wonderful and it means, that unfortunate time when Alexanda ends up in hospital again we will have something to take with us to keep us smiling and while we are at home it will make us smile every bedtime. It was hand delivered this evening by the lovely Sandra and Alexanda was so pleased to meet her "THANK YOU" to all of you amazing people xxxx | ||||||||||||

BiographyAlexanda was born 3 weeks early and we already knew he would have a cleft , but then at 10 days old we were told he had PKU and he was put straight onto the special diet and then by 3 months old he became poorly with pneumonia and that's when he had his first ng tube , unfortunately he would get poorly a lot with his chest and also failed to thrive he didn't meat his milestones and that's when we knew he was special , he started fitting at about 18months old and by the time he was 2 he was put on medication and became more reliant on tube feeding we have had several diagnoses over the years for all sorts but he has recently been diagnosed with Kabuki syndrome . About a year ago he started having more problems with feeding and is now tube fed 23 out of 24 hours . He also has slight sight loss and hearing loss but wears his glasses and hearing aid very proudly. Alexanda is full of life and has the fantastic red hair to go with but he spends a lot of time in and out of hospitals .we don't have postpals but I have a little page on Facebook dedicated to Alexanda and his life |
