It's here .... It arrived a day after Matilda's 3rd birthday..... She is over the moon by receiving her love quilt..... She's planning on taking it everywhere with her including camping at the camper van festivals so if any of you go to them then look out for us with the radio flyer..... I can't thank you enough for putting all your love and time into something like this for our special little people.... Huge huge love and thanks to each and every one of you xxxxx

Biography

Matilda was diagnosed via a 20 wk scan amd given 5% survival rate.... She was born blue tet and called our smurf baby..... After being induced she was born at Lincoln county hospital weighing 7lb 12oz and taken straight to scbu.... I saw her 4 hours after birth due to hemorage and almost needing a transfusion.... Was beautiful seeing her for the first time magical even... She was transported to Glenfield within 12 hours where she was on life support..... After a few hectic days she was on the ward and we were home in 8 days..... I missed my 3 boys dearly...
Having spent nine months out of her first yr in hospital she had her tof repair august 2012 at 6 months old.... She was critical for two weeks before going to the ward... Glenfield are fantastic.... Matilda always was and still is blue tone child due to stenosis.... She met cannon and ball dec 2012 while spending 3 wks in hospital with rsv, pneumonia and bronchiolitis .... To date she is still a smurf and check ups every 6 months till she requires more surgery... She is and always will be our hero who taught us the importance of things in life.... She is our world....
