Biography

Mason was the last of my 6 children so I believe in myself - I knew he wasn't right from a few weeks old , he cried 24 /7 never fed was alwayw violently sick He never reached his milestones at the right time, and was in and out of hospital with his asthma so the doctors blamed him always being ill for the way he was, but I knew better!!

After starting nursery, the staff picked up on his unusual behaviour and took me aside and said I should face facts that Mason was not as he should be.

After many meltdowns day after day and unusual behaviour toward the family and every day life I decided to seek help, the gp referred him straight away, we waited over a year for an URGENT appointment where she diagnosed him within 2 hrs.

We are struggling everyday and I have had to fight for him every step of the way for a better life and future for my son, but I will continue until he gets the help he deserves.
he may have many different traits - doesn't like clothes spend all day in underwear and wrapped in blankets, eat cereals as his basic diet and spends every minute on computer. He also has hyper sensitivity so noise, crowds, rain sun cold warmth bother him and hurting himself slightly is like he has broken a bone, but he is so loving and totally honest, the world would be a better place if there were more people like Mason.
