Thank youI again want to thank you all for your time and dedication for Bridie's beautiful quilt... The photos don't do it justice. The colours are amazing and such detail in every square. Bridie asked me to thank you all from her personally... She said she loves all the squares, but she is a real romantic and said she has a soft spot for the heart squares...xxxx | |||||||||||||||

BiographyBridie was born a healthy baby. When she was 4 months old we could see that something was wrong. She found it very difficult to hold her head up and was very sick and always in and out of hospital. When Bridie was almost 2 years old she had a crisis and was diagnosed with GA1. This left her very poorly and unable to sit up or speak and do any thing by her self. She also suffered from dystonia. When she was 8 years old she had a baclofen pump inserted in in side to pump medication in her body to help with the dystonia. Six years ago to had rods in her spine as she was developing scoliosis. Bridie is still unable to do things for herself but she does try. She manages to make you understand what she is saying. |
