Thank youAfter 2 nights at respite Dylan had an absolutely amazing surprise receiving his lovequilt today :) I cannot get over how stunning it is,it's beautiful!!The square with the Marvel Minions seems to be the biggest hit with both Dylan and his younger sister. I honestly cannot thank you enough, you've made a special little boy very happy :) x

BiographyAt my 20wk scan it showed Dylan had dilated ventricles of the brain which can be linked to mental retardation, having a nephew & 4 brothers with a rare genetic disorder which resulted in them being severely mentally impaired I was scanned regularly!! Dylan was born at 37wks healthy weight, healthy baby :) Worries started when he wasn't meeting his milestones rolling over, sitting, crawling etc in Dec 2008 an mri scan showed us he had damage to his brain - pvl resulting in cerebral palsy, which explained alot of things!! Dylan started having seizures & was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 18mths old & has been on meds ever since He has had a number of small operations & treatments of botox but unfortunately at the age of 10 still can't walk unaided even though he has the most determination I have ever come across in a human being - his body just won't allow it :(
