Biography

Jon paul was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 13 days old. He was born with a perforated bowel and disteneded tummy. He dies twice & was brought back to us. He wasn't expected to live until he was 3, he is mow 17! He also has cerebral palsy.

Jon Pul has to go into hospital for 2 weeks every 3 months for treatment (IV antibiotics) & has a Gastostomy tube in his tummy, Portacath in his chest & a splint on his leg for his cerebral palsy. Yet through all this he remains positive & likes to help other people. He has a positive outlook on life & will not let his disease get him down.

Update Nov 28th 2008 -
The doctor has said because Jon Paul has so much scarring on his lungs he is considering him for a lung transplant in the not too distant future.

We are optimistic & just take each day as it comes & try to get on with life.
