BiographyFinley was born in August 2009 and appeared to be entirely healthy. However, very quickly we noticed that he was not gaining weight and at only a few days old, we were told that he had Cystic Fibrosis. Since then, Finley has taken upwards of eight medications every day, including two to three nebulisers.
In addition, Finley needs daily physiotherapy of at least 30 minutes, which involves banging on his chest and encouraging him to blow through a PEP (designed to inflate his chest). Finley has also spent long periods of time in hospital - at least a year, all together - and undergone several operations.
