BiographyJade had her first seizure at 4 and a half weeks, and was controlled for about 1 year until she suddenly started having spasms and took a long time and us telling doctors that it was Infantile Spasms (Epileptic spasms now 3 years old) before was diagnosed. By this time jade had lost all skills she had learnt like sitting up, waving, clapping etc.
Since her diagnosis she has not been seizure/spasm controlled and it has been a hard slog trying to get her to regain her skills. she is now able to roll over and go into sitting and 4 point kneeling. she is unable to stand on her own but we are working on it.
She was registered blind just over 1 years of age and her sight has slightly improved and can follow some lights.
It has been a long struggle and not having any reasons why jade cannot see or has the epilepsy is the hardest thing. We are awaiting going on the keto diet (currently been waiting 5 months) to try and get some form of control.
