Biography

Johnathon was born on the 23 April 09 we found out at my 20 week scan johnathon had no connection to his tummy and would need surgery as soon as he was born to reconnect him back up on the 24th April at 2 am the cardiac consultant was called to him at 7 o'clock that morning johnathon was getting ready for theater his doctor came in and told us johnathon had 4 heart defects and a syndrome call charge my while world fell apart my little boy was very poorly and may not make it through surgery due to his heart every one was on standby he came through the surgery well but many of time we were taken to one side and told he wasn't going to make it johnathon spent a lot of time in hospital due to oxygen levels diping low and chest infection when johnathon was 3 months old his heart was failing and need his surgery 2 months early they took him to theater in July with the odds against him after 6 hours his cardiac consultant came to see us and said he hadn't reached him yet his air way was not great and they struggled to ventilate him and collapsed his lungs so iS in picu on antibiotics and will attempt surgery on the Monday Saturday he became critical and Monday he had his surgery johnathon had a rough ride but came through and we were aloud to take him home in September from then on we learnt how to look after johnathon he was unable to swallow so we would spend all day and night suctioning when johnathon was 18 months old he went to have his tonsils out due to sleep apnea we were called to theaters johnathon was critical again they wee unable to remove his tonsil and needed a tracheostomy he was a changed boy after he got his tracky he needed to be on bipap due to his apneas after that he started to grow and infection became less johnathon had open heart again on the 6th June 14 to have his pulmonary valve replaced he will need more surgery in the future
johnathon has limited vision and hearing unable to swallow and balance issues he is due to go in for surgery in 6 weeks time to try and remove his tonsils as he keeps getting infection and secretion have become an issue
