Biography

Aj was born full term at 40+3, he was starved of oxygen during labour and subsequently was born blue and not breathing, he had algae scores of 2,2&7. He had seizures whilst in NICU and stayed in intensive care for 14 days. He was poorly a lot as a baby, in and out of hospital with recurrent chest infections which were caused by aspirating. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy in September 2013, we knew it was coming as he wasn't meeting milestones, still wasn't sitting on his 1st birthday..
In November 2013, Aj had a prolonged tonic colonic seizure which lasted almost an hour. He has had a clear EEG since but has had a few 'episodes' that we don't know what they were!
He was diagnosed with severe autism in May this year, he struggles to deal with daily things because of noise/change/crowds.
He attends one full day therapy session a week which has really helped him learn to be with different people.
