Biography

Katy Rose was born in October 2013. The labour and birth were fairly easy with no complications. She was a healthy 7lb 1. We had no signs that anything was wrong until the consultant came to our house to tell us the results of her heel prick test.

She suffered with reflux awfully and was on 3 lots of medication to ease her symptoms.

In October 2014 after her annual review she was admitted into hospital for 2 weeks after battling with a chest infection for 8 weeks. She began to lose weight and became very withdrawn. The hospital was a horrible ordeal with sedation and having to go under general anaesthetic to get her line in for her anti biotics. During the 2 week stay it was also her 1st Birthday.
After the hospital stay Katy started to thrive.

This year Katy has been generally well with several coughs needing extra medication.
