BiographyJamie was born at 36 weeks weighing only 4lbs 1oz. He was very poorly from birth and spent 21 days in special care.
At 2 weeks old he was registered blind by doctors at GOSH.
Jamie didnt grow very well and remained very small, he spent lots of time in and out of hospital as he was very prone to infection.
At 3, our worst nightmare started when out of the blue, Jamie became very poorly one night and stopped breathing. He was blue lighted to rhe Evelina hospital where he was diagnosed with a rare type of epilepsy that stops him breathing.
Gradually more problems have arisen, Jamie has had 31 operations and has 2 more this month.
I'm so proud to be his mum, throughout all the illness and down moments, Jamie remains a happy boy who loves life. He has great plans for the future, one being a time traveller! He wants to go back in time to bring the friends back he has lost (passed away) x
