Biography

Ellisha was born with spina bifida and severe scoliosis , she undergone 12 spinal surgeries and will be having her 13th within the next few weeks .
Ellisha spent 6 years in spinal casts to try and maintain her curve but sadly that wasn't the case and when she was 6 years old she needed urgent spinal surgery for growth rods as her curve had hit a high 170 degrees , its now stable with rods at 100 degrees but now she needs the rods changed as she has no more growth room left .

Ellisha has always struggled with her learning and growth , I had always ask for blood tests but always been refused but last year these were finally agreed , which showed up she has the 15q13.3 micro deletion syndrome that's when we finally got the diagnosis .She gets very anxious to the point where she can make herself sick . Ellisha attends a special needs school as she just cant cope in a mainstream school and she loves it , she has to use a wheelchair for long distance as her legs can become very painful if she do lots of walking . Ellisha is a happy go lucky little girl who has always got a smile on her face .
