Biography

Travis was born at home. He developed as a normal child until he got ill aged 18 months. He had a stay in hospital and had to relearn everything again. He had to learn to crawl and walk again. He stopped babbling and he taughtt himself sign language. He preferred to sign than talk for a long time. He talks now but he is behind in his language. He is very good with numbers but doesn't understand English very well! He is very literal. If you told him to go wash hands in the toilet he would give a strange look back as he would literally think you want him to wash his hands in the toilet! This can be funny at times. He is very much a loner child. Prefers his own company. He can't start a conversation but if I talk to him he can talk back!
He doesn't like getting dirty or anything out of place so he can be hard work with his traits!
He has anxiety problems and doesn't like to leave the house. He would sit in his bed all day on his iPad if I let him! He gets obsessed with items/themes. The top half of his bedroom is a space theme with planets, moon stars. The bottom half is army and he has an army bed with army camouflage netting all round the room. His bedroom is his haven. When he is home he is a happy child.
He loves to hide under his blankets and I just know he would love a special space themed quilt To snuggle under his moon and stars at night!
