BiographyHope has a rare heart condition it's called common arterial trunk. She also has vsd - we found out on the 20 week scan. When she was born she stayed in hospital for 5 days and was blue lighted to the hospital where they did a detailed scan of her heart and made a plan on what steps they would make . While she was waiting for surgery she had to be seen in the ambulatory unit every other day to keep a eye on her sats . She was admitted to hospital as she wasn't feeding well so they gave her an ng tube (She didn't like that) She was then allowed hoher but becaher sick again as she didn't like the milk they gave her it made her very ill. At 6 weeks old she had a routine heart scan where they said she would need a big surgery as she was getting very sick and breathless. So the next week she was admitted to the hospital and she had her surgery. They said she was a very strong girl as she was out of hospital after two weeks with lots of medicine to help her get better. She's been back to hospital lots of times where they look at her heart and they said she's going to need more surgery as things are not looking good with her heart. So she's going to need more surgery in a few weeks as she was admitted to the catch lab for her ballooning but it wasn't successful. |
