Biography

Just like Noah's brother, Joseph he was born a healthy and happy little boy.

Having been through the mill with his brother and his condition I was naturally very cautious with Noah and every time he was unsettled during the night I worried it was the same as Joseph.

At 2 years old woke in the middle of the night holding his head and vomited. I knew. I just knew it was the same.

Again after what felt like a battle to be listened to the local hospital agreed to MRI scan him and there it was. A Chiari Malformation. Exactly the same as Joseph.

Noah has had ICP monitoring (a bolt drilling through the skull for a probe to be inserted in to thebrsin to monitor the pressure) and a full sleep study. The sleep study showed pauses of breathing during the night.

He is scheduled to be put to sleep again soon for another MRI scan of his brain and spine.

His consultant does think decompression surgery is on the cards but this time they are approaching with caution so that noah doesn't have to suffer the same as Joseph.

When Noah first went in to hospital it was his brother Joseph that helped him through it as he knows exactly what it feels like.
