Biography

Michael has autistic spectrum disorder. I always knew there was something not quite right from him being a year old. He had delayed speech which was my first concern and was taking considerably longer reaching milestones.
He was diagnosed in March 2015 and is finally getting help and support from CAMHS and in school, but he is still struggling academically and we are in talks about changing his school to one more equipped for his needs!

Other than that he is such a lovely, wonderful, loving little boy and also such a mummy's boy which I absolutely love that we are so close.

Getting this quilt will mean the world to him as when he has meltdowns I find wrapping him in a blanket and cuddling him tight really helps.
