Biography

Following a normal pregnancy my waters broke two weeks later. After 12 or so hours Charlies heart rate was lost and he was born by emergency c section. He wasn't breathing and needed resuscitation.

He was whisked of to special care in a very poorly way. He started to have seizures at just ten hours old and we were warned he was critical and may not survive. He had suffered serious brain damage but he did survive! He's a brave and strong little boy who has fought every step. Along the way he has dealt with dreadful seizures, several a day at there worst, a massive amount of time time in hospital. His chest now is in a very worrying state and has now developed awful dystonia.

He just gets on with it and tries so very hard to join in and do his best at school. He's amazing x
