Thank youHi,
I would like to say such a huge thank you for Luke's quilt. Thank you doesn't seem enough for such a beautiful item. Luke absolutely loves it! I'm not ashamed to say I had a few tears when the quilt was opened and I saw it. Your stitchers and quilters are amazing people. The generosity of people is such a true gift. Thank you so, so much.
The photo is of Luke after spending his first night under his beautiful quilt.
Forever grateful,
Vicki and Luke. Xx

BiographyLuke's first 18 months consisted of him being very poorly and at 18 months old was admitted to hospital with pneumonia. Following this admission he had tests which confirmed he suffered from Cystic Fibrosis. This diagnosis allowed us to, at last, treat him.
He has endured a lot over his 13 years. He has had many hospital stays sometimes for four weeks at a time doing intensive physiotherapy and IV antibiotics. He tries to keep smiling throughout it all. He's due back in hospital within the next few days for more intense treatment due to growing a nasty bug in his lungs. With a lung function currently at 47% he is finding it more difficult to keep up with his peers.
