Biography

Alexis was born in May with what the hospital told us was strider and she would grow out of it.

We took her home but the first day she would not feed right. After backwards and forwards from the hospital, I went to see my GP and she got Alexis admitted for tests. That's when she had a ng tube put down as she was unsafe to take her bottle. After a few days while they run the test Alexis took a turn for the worse and had to be transported to hospital that had Intensive Care. On a few occasions, she would stop breathing and she had a mlb and they found the cleft. After 3 weeks she was moved to Great Ormond Street were she had surgery to repair it but she was finding it had to breathe, so the choice was made to put the tracheostomy in. Now she needs 24 hour care and I had to be trained to look after her. After that, she had the peg in and the Nissan done to help with the gord, but then but they found a second stomach which was removed. After all this and the hospital appointments there is no sign of improvement.

She still is a really happy girl that loves to take her cat everywhere.
