Biography

Ellie was born at 24 weeks weighing 1lb 8oz we had a battle to survive.... Not even a week old and had a bleed on the brain and NEC.

We were transferred to Nottingham to have her first of many life saving operations. She had a stoma done at a week old and shunt put in at 6 wks old. Further along the line she had a heart operation to close a valve and her stoma released. She then began to pick up and finally we were allowed to bring her home at 5 months old. Ellie is a full time wheelchair user whose cerebral palsy effects all four limbs. In her short life, we have had numerous other operations from Botox to shunt revisions. My little girl always comes round with a smile on her face. We can say now at 12 years old she finally beat the Drs predictions of not surviving for 12 hours. ðŸ˜€
