Thank youFynnley is delighted with the wonderful quilt he cried when I gave it him. "It is the best present ever ever!" were his exact words.
His most treasured possession apart from his teds. It gives him special superhero powers which help him to be brave.

BiographyFynnley ws born 5 weeks early and was diagnosed at birth with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He was operated on at 3 days old which marked the start of 48 major surgeries and countless smaller ones. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at 1. Had his diagnosis of tethered cord at 3.
Fynnley has always had some form of pain but on March 2011 started struggling to walk and maintain his balance and his pain was off the scale. Many investigations later we were told Fynnley had cancer. A rare form that had grown inside and around his spinal cord. We have had 4 years of chemotherapy and last spinal surgery 2 years ago. This horrible disease has robbed Fynnley the ability to walk has stopped his bladder and bowel from working he now has a cystostomy button and colostomy bag to deal with these.
Constant pain is helped with a mirage of drugs making Fynnley very sleepy and he now spends most of his days in bed.
We are now just keeping his pain under control and him comfortable as the tumour destroys more and more of my beautiful precious son. We are trying to fill his days with happy memories.
