Biography

Charlotte was born by C-Section and had failure to thrive. Charlottes elder brother Justin had an undiagnosed genetic condition which had affected his breathing, his muscles and caused developmental delay. Doctors quickly realised Charlotte had the same condition as she was failed to meet her milestones.

Sadly her big brother died suddenly aged 10 when she was just 3 so Charlotte is classed as life limited. Now 6 she has regular hospital appointments for her Growth Hormone therapy (injections) and her ongoing bowel issues (surgery imminent). She has daily Physio as she is unable to weight bear or even stand, S&L input to allow her to communicate via Makaton, and attends a special needs provision.
