Biography

Jessica was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at four weeks old. A week after diagnosis Jessica was taken very poorly with R.S.V a serious virus that hospitalised her for a week. Since birth Jessica has been hospitalised many times with serious infections and has been so brave with having a NG tube for overnight feeds as her condition prevents her from gaining weight.

Currently Jessica is waiting any day now for her operation for a Gastrostomy tube, a device fitted in her stomach with an outer tube for feeding. She amazes us, her parents, everyday with her determination to get through her daily treatments of an hour of physiotherapy and 25 tablets per day with a smile. She is the bravest girl we have ever known and we are so proud of her.
