Thank you so very much for Kia's love quilt. She adores it and can't wait to show her friends photos of it tomorrow , she's not allowed to take it to school (my orders!)
It's amazing and we can't wait to show it off in New York when we go in March 2018 for Kia's 16th birthday. I realise this was probably one of the more challenging quilts to do as it's not a usual theme but New York means so much to Kia and everything New York related becomes her favourite thing! So thank you so very much for making her so happy that this is New York / USA themed!
This is the 4th quilt to come into our house so there was always going to be arguments about whose is the best .... and we got the arguments tonight but the good thing is that everyone thinks their own quilt is the best! So you've done an awesome job of matching their likes and personalities!

Biography

Kia has suffered from major anxiety since she was about 7 years old but she's always been really really shy and unconfident.

Although 15, Kia is very emotionally immature for her age and her anxiety and dyspraxia has lead her to become very behind in her learning, meaning that she is working a whole year below where she should be. Despite this she is currently studying for her first year of GCSE exams in the core subjects as well as photography which she is really enjoying.

Kia has really bad exam stress at the moment making it very hard for her to even leave the house to go to school... the one thing that gets her through (so she says) is the thought of coming home and hiding under a blanket with a hot chocolate and the iPad!
