Thank you so very much from each and everyone of you that dedicate so much time to producing these amazing quilts, the love and care put into every square and quilting is really heart warming and the finished result is beyond my expectations.....its gorgeous and Calleigh loves it she's a little under the weather today but still managed lots of smiles and was feeling all the squares (her brother couldn't be left out and wanted a photo with her ). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts x

Biography

Calleigh was born in January 2011. Other than measuring small during pregnancy the pregnancy and labour itself were without any complications. She was born a perfectly tiny little bundle!

During her newborn checks the doctors noted that she had a tongue tie, newborn reflexes were non existent and her head measured small. Her first few weeks she struggled to gain weight even after having her tongue tie cut, she had no head control and the next few months being passed back and forth between doctors and health visitors began.

At 6 months old Calleigh was sent for an MRI and blood test as she still had poor head control and poor weight gain....after a long 3 months waiting she was diagnosed with 1q43-1q44 chromosome deletion and microcephaly.
A month after her 1st birthday Calleigh had her first seizure. For the next few years she was in and out of hospital due to her epilepsy.
Now at 6 years old her epilepsy is pretty well controlled, she attends a special needs school in which she is blossoming!
Despite all of Calleigh's difficulties she is always happy, she can make anyone smile with her cheeky character.
