BiographyElliot has had seizures since birth, he was diagnosed at 3 months old. Elliot was having up to around 40 seizures per day. He had no quality of life, he spent most of the day and night sleeping. He had a temporal lobectomy in October 2012 to try to reduce his seizures, unfortunately this operation was not successful.
In July 2013 Elliot had brain surgery for the second time, this time he had a disconnection. We noticed a reduction in seizures almost straight after surgery. Due to this procedure Elliot lost his field of vision from the right hand side of both eyes. As he was so young this didn't affect him too much and he adjusted to this really quickly.
Elliot is 6 years old now, he has global development delay but he is such a happy little boy. He is so brave and I'm so proud of him.
