Biography

Christian was born healthy in December, with an apgar score of 9, 9, 10. At 5 days old he was diagnosed with severe jaundice.

Due to delays in treating him and a catelogue of errors he has severe dystonia, athetoid cp, non verbal, visual and hearing impairment and is totally dependent upon an adult for his basic needs.

Despite all of the challenges that Christian faces on a daily basis, he is a happy, sociable, determined boy and tries hard to take part in everything that is put in front of him. He uses a low communication book and he was able to communicate to his Teachers and TAs that he wanted to do horse riding. He is now having horse riding sessions on a weekly basis and he is enjoying the experience. Christian lives at home with his two older brothers and mother and father who love him dearly. We do our best for Christian and we travel to different places to give Christian the opportunities to enable him to have a full and enriching life.
