Daisy B's quilt    (Quilt Completed)

I just want to say a mass be thank you to every single person at Love quits who contributed to our daughter Daisy's beautiful Love Quilt.
We received the Love Quilt yesterday and it was so beautiful it made me cry...even the lovely card from Gaynor made me cry.
I am blown away by just how perfect it is, every intricate detail is stunning

What makes this Love Quilt even more special to us is sadly Daisy Passed away before her Quilt was complete
She battled long and hard for 6 months in ICU on a ventilator before she was taken from us very suddenly.

However, this Very special Princess Love Quilt means so much to me and her little siblings and it will be placed on her bed here at home in her room and I am sure she will be admiring it from up above

Thank you again to everyone at Love Quilts for this very precious Quilt that I will treasure forever xxx

Biography

Daisy and her twin Jake were born at 30 weeks gestation and sadly Daisy suffered a massive brain haemorrhage at birth which resulted in her having cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, epilepsy and being registered blind.

Daisy has beat the odds all her life and despite requiring round the clock care, she is happy, always smiling, loves socialising...gossip, going out places, loves school and has a fantastic sense of humour.

Daisy sadly suffered a further brain injury in March and as a result has been in intensive care on a ventilator since. She is slowly recovering neurologically and it is hoped that in the next 2-3 months she will be ready to come home with a tracheostomy fully ventilated.
We just want Daisy home where she belongs.
We would love Daisy to have a love quilt for her to use on ICU and on her bed when she does come home.
