Biography

Amelia was diagnosed through newborn screening & we received the devastating news in March 2011 that she had Cystic Fibrosis.

She has had a tremendous battle through her 6 short years, enduring 16 hospital stays so far, numerous operations & hundreds of appointments. She is so brave & takes it all her stride and I take my strength from her.

She has in excess of 50 tablets every single days, along with 4 nebulisers and at least 2 physiotherapy sessions every day. It has made her a very determined young lady. She loves swimming as we started it at a young age as part of her physiotherapy routine and recently swam 400 metres.
