Biography

Alexander was born at 38 weeks and 3 days gestation by emergency section following a silent placental abruption. Alex was born not breathing and had no heart rate for 11 minutes. Drs finally brought Alex back and he was placed on a cooking mat lowering his temperature to 33.5 degrees for 3 days. Alex began having seizures soon after birth and a MRI showed a lot of damage to his brain.

Alex began to slowly recover although he has been left with cerebral palsy. Alex can’t sit, walk or talk but loves his family, Mr Tumble and his friends. There is no better sound than the sound of Alex laughing.
