Destiny loves the quilt and it really made her day bless her. It's so beautiful made, and I love the personal touch with her name on the back. The nurses have said how beautiful it is.

The little card is a lovely little extra too.

Biography

Destiny had been healthy up until a few weeks before her diagnosis. She had been very tired and gone off her food. We thought this was just a phase she was going through and a change of routine due to Covid-19.

10th June Destiny had what looked like a insect bite on her leg and she complained that this was painful. 11th June she woke up with a very high temp and a bit delirious. Another insect bite had Appeared on her arm. These looked infected and were like abscesses.

After going to our local A&E and they wernt sure what had bitten her they took bloods. These shew that she had a type of leukaemia and we were rushed to addenbrookes hospital.

More tests done to show she had a type of leukaemia called AML.

Chemo started on 14th June 2020. Destiny is currently on round 2 of 4 of chemo.
