Biography

Ivy was diagnosed with CF at 3 weeks old. CF is a disease that affects many parts of the body but the main damage is done to the lungs - currently only half of people who have CF live until their 31st birthday.

Ivy takes around 20 tablets a day along with other suspension medicines and has to do daily physio and nebulisers to help clear her lungs. She also takes regular antibiotics to treat lung infections and is admitted for IV antibiotics. We visit her care team every 8 weeks to monitor her condition.
