BiographyJames was originally a twin, but I thought something was wrong so I went to get checked out. At the scan they had told me James’ twin Jack had died, I was around 32 weeks. I gave birth the next day. Ever since James was born he hadn’t been an easy baby, he would constantly love to be held and rocked to sleep. I first noticed the signs of his GDD when he was around 1 and a half to 2yrs old. He eventually got diagnosed and then later on got diagnosed as being severely autistic including. He is non verbal and still in nappies. He’s 11yrs old but has the mind age of a 12 month old.
At 11 years old he currently attends a school for children with physical and learning disabilities like him. On a day to day basis at home James loves routine but if something is out of place in that routine due to him being non verbal he tends to lash out mainly at me. We use an iPad at home because that’s what he enjoys watching videos on YouTube and he also enjoys spending time with his two older brothers.
James has a beautiful smile and his laugh that melts every bodies heart as he is a loving little boy. His nickname is smiler.
