Biography

Reece is a fun loving young man when well and copes really well being attached to a ventilator 23 hours. Reece has had several issues with the lack of tracheal ring in his throat from birth resulting in now having custom made trachys to help keep his throat open.
Because of the Klinefelter syndrome Reece has had to have several operations to bring his testicals from his stomach to a cooler part of the body, as far as his short blood supply would go, to lesson the fear of testicular cancer. Reece is a great advert for complex children, he just gets on with his life where possible with the restrictions the ventilator, along with humidifier, lets him.
We are almost to completion of his Emergency Health Care Plan, the final paperwork is awaiting confirmation of the low heart rate he is now experiencing. Once the hospital agree this his end of life plan will be in place.
