Thank youA huge thank you to everyone than helped make Sienna's quilt. It is absolutely beautiful. My husbands words were "it's almost too good to use" and I know what he means, however Sienna will be using it! Thank you.... X

BiographySienna's journey started at our 12 week scan when the exomphalos major was diagnosed. We discovered this contained her liver and bowel and were advised to terminate the pregnancy but we chose not to.
On 16th March 2011, Sienna was born via a C section, and on her second day of life, major surgery began. Sienna is now 9 months old and has now had three major operations and more surgery is planned... A lot of time is spent at Sheffield Children's Hospital where she receives excellent care from the consultants and nursing staff.
She has spent so much time on NSU she is as content there as she is at home. We do not know what the future holds for Sienna but every day is precious as she is our little miracle and a born fighter.
