Fabric for Joshua H

Biography

Joshua suffered severe HIE at birth, resulting in a 4 week stay in intensive care, despite being full term (in fact 9 days overdue). He has had involvement from physiotherapists since day one, and time has seen the introduction of more specialists/therapists. He is now under the care of an O.T, dietician, opthamoligist, audiologist, speech and language therapist, community nurse and gastro surgeon.

In November 2010, Joshua had a gastrostomy operation to help with weight gain, sadly this hasn't helped as hoped and efforts are still being made to help him gain weight. Joshua now attends a SN school 2 days a week, and is a very popular character. He is always so happy :)
