Biography

Arthur had his diagnosis at the 12 week scan. The hospital offered us a termination because of his heart condition but, from losing a child before, we wanted to give Arthur every chance of life. At 2 weeks old Arthur went through open heart surgery to fix an IAA and a large VSD and after a month in Birmingham Children's Hospital he was allowed home. He has been back to hospital a few times for numerous things respiratory and his DiGeorge syndrome. To look at him today with his cheeky smile you would not be able to tell what he has gone through, our strong little warrior.
