Thank youToday we received Joshua’s quilt - wow it’s absolutely beautiful, I’m speechless on how much care and attention to detail the people who have made the squares and done this for him. You're all amazing. Joshua was over the moon and asked about every square and whose name was on it and who made it he was very intrigued by it.
Thank you all again it’s beautiful.

BiographyJoshua was born by planned C-Section at 37weeks. He was healthy until he was few months old when he started with chest infections and trouble breathing. He was always poorly with chest infections and on antibiotics nearly every month! We spent weeks in hospital on oxygen and antibiotics. He had bad bronchitis all before his 1st birthday! Joshua was non-verbal and just before his 3rd birthday he did say some words but not enough for his age. We had various doctors and speech and language therapy appointments and he was diagnosed with Autism in April 2019. We know he was different and it was hard to come to terms with but we had to deal with it and help him the best way we could! We did courses and went to specialist groups for social interaction to help him. He uses PECS picture systems to communicate! He was diagnosed with gluten intolerance and diet issues and he was diagnosed with Ketotic hypoglycemia
in 2018, where he has to keep his glucose levels up. If not he can have hypos and need treatment! Joshua is now 4. In nursery he gets all the help he needs and we are very proud of him!
