Biography

William was born 9 weeks early weighing only 3lb 13oz. He was born with white areas on his brain which later disappeared but they didn’t know what damage it had done.

We were on neonatal for five weeks. I knew something wasn’t quite right with how William was acting. He was delayed with all his milestones especially walking. He used to fall frequently and as he got older he couldn’t manage stairs. We have been to several hospitals with his problems and finally last November we had it confirmed that he has congenital myopathy.

All we know is that it’s a progressive disease with no cure so we make everyday as special as we can.
